The Golan Artist Project

🌄 The Golan Artist Project

The Golan Heights has always been a place of stories — volcanic rock, open skies, winter fog, and quiet landscapes that inspire creativity.
The Golan Artist Project was created to give those stories a home.

Rujum.Art is more than an online gallery. It is a growing platform dedicated to artists, photographers, and creators whose work is shaped by the land, the people, and the spirit of the Golan. Our mission is to bring the unique visual language of the region to a wider audience while supporting the artists who live and create here.

🎨 A Home for Local Creators

The project began with stone balance artworks built in the fields around Ein Zivan, but it quickly expanded into something larger — a collaboration between Golan-based artists whose work carries the same sense of stillness, nature, and authenticity.

Our first invited collaborator is a renowned local photographer who has documented the Golan for more than twenty years. Her images — published in photobooks sold over 10,000 times — capture the atmosphere, light, and raw beauty of the region like few others can.
Her collection will soon be available on Rujum.Art.

This is just the beginning.
The Golan Artist Project will continue to grow, add voices, and create a shared space for visual storytelling rooted in the north.
